PTBS Platform Terms of Use

Version 2026-09-29 · Effective 2026-09-29 · Permanent link

1. Who these terms cover

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to the Platform operated by Physical Therapy Billing Services, LLC (“PTBS”). The Platform supports credentialing, benefit verification, authorization, billing dashboards, and related communications for and between PTBS and authorized clinic users. By clicking the sign-in link sent to their email address, each clinic user agrees to the current Terms of Use. Use of the Platform is only permitted for current customers of PTBS, who have a valid and active customer relationship governed by a separate Billing Services Agreement (the “Agreement”). If there is a disagreement between these Terms and the Agreement, that Agreement controls if it conflicts with these Terms.

2. Authorized use and information submitted

The platform is only for your authorized work. You are responsible to a) protect your sign-in links and account access; b) provide information you reasonably believe is accurate and current; c) tell PTBS through the normal service channel if you identify an error or need a correction.

3. Verification and decisions

Benefits, coverage, authorization, credentialing, and billing information reflects the information available to or provided to PTBS when the work was performed. Payer policies, eligibility, network status, claim processing, and payment decisions can change. A verification or authorization result does not guarantee coverage, payment, reimbursement, or the absence of later billing issues. Users remain responsible for applying their own clinical, billing, and administrative judgment and for confirming material information with the payer or other authoritative source when needed.

4. Information provided as is

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law and any controlling written agreement, PTBS provides Platform information and documents “as is” and does not warrant that they will be complete, accurate, current, or error-free. Mistakes may arise from information collected, entered, transmitted, interpreted, or shared by either or any one of PTBS, a payer, a clinic, a user, a patient, or another source.

5. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law and any controlling written agreement, PTBS is not liable for lost revenue, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from reliance on information provided through the Platform, including mistakes attributable to PTBS, payers, clinics, users, or other sources.

6. Privacy and security

Information in the Platform may include protected health information. Authorized users must handle it under their organization’s policies and applicable law. PTBS handles information under its applicable agreements and legal obligations. Do not send patient information through an unapproved channel when reporting a problem with the Platform.

7. Changes and questions

PTBS may update these Terms. Material changes will be presented to users for acknowledgment before they continue using the Platform. The Platform will show the effective version. For questions or corrections, contact PTBS through your established service channel.
